TUBA VIRTUOSO TO PRESENT MASTER CLASS & RECITAL

October 29, 2009 - Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) will welcome Norwegian tuba soloist Oystein Baadsvik for a master class and recital this week. The visit is part of the University’s Fine Arts Series.

All area high school musicians and educators are invited to participate in the master class which will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 29 at Union County High School in Maynardville, Tenn. Baadsvik will also present a solo recital at 7:30 p.m. that evening at the Harrogate United Methodist Church. The recital will feature classical works, pop and a duet with LMU Assistant Professor Sean Greene. Admission is free to both events.
