September 20, 2012 - The Caylor School of Nursing (CSON) at Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) will host a site review team from the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, Inc., (NLNAC) in October.

The purpose of the site review is for continuing accreditation of the CSON’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program. Three concentrations are offered for the MSN degree: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Nurse Anesthesia and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). The MSN FNP concentration is offered at the LMU main campus in Harrogate, Tenn., its extended learning site at the Kingsport Center for Higher Education in Kingsport, Tenn. and its extended learning site at LMU-Cedar Bluff in Knoxville, Tenn. The MSN Nurse Anesthesia concentration is offered on the Harrogate campus. The MSN PMHNP concentration is offered at LMU-Cedar Bluff.

The public is invited to meet the site visit team and share comments about the MSN program in person at a meeting scheduled for Monday, October 15, 2012, from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. in Room 310 of the Math and Science building on the LMU main campus in Harrogate.
