LMU'S CARTER AND MOYERS SCHOOL OF EDUCATION TO HOST NCATE SITE REVIEW



October 3, 2012 - Harrogate, Tennessee — The Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) Carter and Moyers School of Education will host an accreditation visit by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) from April 7-10, 2013.

The purpose of the site review is for initial accreditation of all Carter and Moyers School of Education programs by NCATE. LMU currently has candidate status with the national professional accrediting body in education.

The public and interested parties are invited to submit third-party comments to the visiting team. Comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of professional education programs offered, and should specify the party’s relationship to the institution (graduate, present or former faculty member, employer of graduate, etc.).

Written comments should be submitted directly to: Board of Examiners, NCATE, 2010 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Suite 2500, Washington, DC 20036-1023 or by email: callforcomments@ncate.org.

Correspondence, which must be received by NCATE no later than three months prior to visit, will be submitted to the institution for response via NCATE’s Accreditation Information Management System (AIMS).
