ABRAHAM LINCOLN LIBRARY AND MUSEUM PRESENTS CHRISTMAS WITH THE LINCOLNS: MR. LINCOLN’S CHRISTMASES AT THE WHITE HOUSE



December 4, 2012 - Harrogate, Tennessee — The Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum (ALLM) on Lincoln Memorial University (LMU)’s main campus in Harrogate, Tenn., will welcome Lincoln presenter Dennis Boggs for its annual Christmas with the Lincolns program on Friday, December 14, at 7 p.m.

Boggs will present a self-produced program entitled, “Mr. Lincoln’s Christmases at The White House.” In character as President Lincoln, he will share his memories of the four Christmases that he and his family spent in the White House. He will reflect on the challenges of keeping the spirit of Christmas alive at a time when the United States was being torn apart by the bloody battles of the Civil War.

Admission is $4 for adults, $2 for children and includes entrance to the galleries. Admission is free for LMU employees and students with their University ID. For more information or to reserve seating, contact Program and Tourism Director Carol Campbell at 423.869.6439.

The Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum is located on the historic campus of Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee.
