LMU UNVEILS 2015 TRAVEL PROGRAM: DESTINATION ITALY & GREECE



August 14, 2014 - Harrogate, Tennessee — The Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) Travel Program has set the itinerary for the 2015 trip and is now taking deposits for the nine-night trip to Italy and Greece.

Take a look inside the two cultures that shaped western civilization as you follow in the footsteps of emperors and take in the backdrops of ancient mythology. The LMU trip includes Italy and Greece’s most iconic cities and legendary landscapes. Watch as history comes to life in Athens and Rome, and sit back and savor the good life in sunny Sorrento and the Isle of Capri. The tour includes stays in Sorrento and Rome, Italy and Nauplia, Athens and Santorini, Greece.

The travel package, which is open to anyone, includes roundtrip airfare, nine nights in handpicked hotels, breakfast daily, four three- course dinners, guided sightseeing, a multilingual tour director, private deluxe motor coach transportation and select entrance fees and starts at $3,779 a person based on double occupancy. Established in 2011, the LMU Travel Program is organized by the office of Alumni Services by Alumni Director Donnie Lipscomb. Past trips have included destinations including Ireland, Alaska and the Caribbean. The program is open to alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of the University.
