LMU TO HOLD OPEN HOUSE AT LMU-CEDAR BLUFF ON MAY 12
May 3, 2012 - Knoxville, Tennessee — Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) will host an open house at LMU-Cedar Bluff on Saturday, May 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will feature the LMU School of Business, Carter and Moyers School of Education and Caylor School of Nursing
The event will give prospective students the opportunity to meet program directors, administration, faculty, admissions and financial aid staff. LMU’s newest extended learning site will also be on display, highlighting the facilities at LMU-Cedar Bluff.
The LMU School of Business offers two degree programs designed specifically for working adults. The Management and Leadership Studies Program (MLP) and Master of Business Administration Program (MBA) are both offered at LMU-Cedar Bluff, as well as Walters State Community College in Sevierville, Tenn. MLP is also offered at LMU’s Morristown, Tenn., and Middlesboro, Ky., extended learning sites and the MBA is offered at the main campus in Harrogate, Tenn. Both are currently recruiting for fall. Additionally, the School of Business is also recruiting for a new daytime Bachelor of Business Administration offering at LMU-Cedar Bluff.
The Carter and Moyers School of Education offers a full slate of graduate level programs at LMU-Cedar Bluff including Master of Education in Teacher Licensure (MLT), Master of Education (MEd), Educational Specialist (EdS) and Doctor of Education (EdD) programs. The programs are offered at night and on weekends to accommodate working professionals. Three concentrations are offered in the MEd program – counseling and guidance, curriculum and instruction and educational administration and supervision. The EdS program features two concentrations – curriculum and instruction and educational administration and supervision.
The Caylor School of Nursing offers an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program at LMU-Cedar Bluff. The CSON offers two of its three MSN concentrations in Knoxville including the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psych-Mental Health options. The Nurse Anesthesia concentration is offered at the main campus in Harrogate, Tenn. Additionally, the Associate Science in Nursing (ASN) is offered at nearby Physicians Regional Medical Center. Information from all LMU nursing programs will be available at the open house.
