LMU & THE CITY OF HARROGATE BRING THE GREAT CHINA CIRCUS TO TOWN
March 30, 2007 - Harrogate, Tennessee—Lincoln Memorial University and the City of Harrogate have joined together to bring The Great China Circus to Tex Turner Arena on Saturday, April 14. The troop of performers will present one show at 5 p.m.
Based at The Great China Circus Theater in Sevierville, Tenn., the troop has been performing extreme acrobatics in The Great Smoky Mountains for three years. Performing in a 2,000 year-old ancient tradition of exquisite raw talent from the heartland of China, The Great China Circus is a show for all ages.
“LMU is proud to partner with the City of Harrogate to bring this family-friendly act to Tex Turner Arena,” LMU Director of Special Events Larry Carter said. “With the city’s support we were able to bring a new kind of act into the Arena and offer it at a very reasonable price. I hope the community supports this show so we are able to bring in more acts like this.”
Taking its show on the road this year, the group will perform at regional locations throughout the spring and summer. The awe-inspiring show features jaw-dropping performances, non-stop hand clapping and audience participation. The audience will be treated to unbelievable acts of strength, spine tingling contortionists and exhilarating balancing acts.
All tickets are $10 and are available now at www.lmutickets.com, at the LMU ticket office or by phone at 423.869.6355.
