February 21, 2008 - Harrogate, Tennessee, February 21, 2008 – Members of the 2007-2008 Leadership Claiborne Class visited Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) on Wednesday as part of their Education Day activities.

While on the campus of LMU, the Leadership Claiborne Class heard a presentation from Dr. Sherilyn Emberton, vice president of academic affairs. The group also toured the two newest buildings on the LMU campus: The Business-Education Building and the LMU-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) building. Dr. Ray Stowers, vice president and dean of LMU-DCOM, led the tour of the medical school and Rosemary Day, director of certification and testing, led the tour of the Business-Education Building.

In addition to visiting LMU, the group also toured H.Y. Livesay Middle School and Cumberland Gap High School. Sam McCullough spoke to the group about the P16 Project and Kim Wilder gave a presentation on Walters State Community College.
