LMU-DCOM CELEBRATES NATIONAL WEAR RED DAY
February 1, 2008 - Harrogate, Tennessee, February 1, 2008 – Students, faculty and staff at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) celebrated National Wear Red Day on Friday as part of the Go Red for Women campaign. Members of LMU-DCOM’s Women’s Health and Medical Society sold t-shirts and stickers to raise money for the American Heart Association. The Go Red for Women campaign seeks to raise awareness that while heart disease is the number one killer of women, it is largely preventable and women can take steps to lower their risk.
The DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine is located on the campus of Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee.
