MARCH FORWARD WITH LMU AND YOU COULD WIN AN IPOD

March 4, 2008 - Harrogate, Tennessee – Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) is encouraging new students to complete the pre-registration process during the month of March with an iPod a Day Giveaway. The contest is open to all incoming new students who have applied for undergraduate admission.

Every weekday this month, LMU will hold a drawing for a FREE iPod Shuffle. The winner will also receive a $15 iTunes gift card to get their music collection started. To be eligible for the drawing must complete an application for admission, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for LMU, complete a housing application, submit a $200 housing deposit, send high school and college transcripts and submit a $100 pre-registration deposit. The earlier a student completes the pre-registration process, the more chances he or she will have to win.

The iPod a Day Giveaway is part of the University’s “March Forward” campaign. The University is offering other incentives for students to complete pre-registration with the campaign. Prospective students who complete the pre-registration process by March 31 will get to lock in their course schedules for Fall 2008. Also area students who applied to LMU and have been identified as Top Scholars according to class rank or ACT scores will be invited to a special banquet.
