LMU TO STAGE PERFORMING ARTS CAMP



June 23, 2008 - Harrogate, Tennessee — Lincoln Memorial University is now accepting reservations for its upcoming summer performing arts camp. Recent LMU graduate Natalie Sweet will direct two, two-week sessions. The first session will run from July 14-25 with the second session following July 28 through August 8.

Students between the ages of nine and 14 are invited. The camp will run on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch is included. It is being offered through the support of a grant from the Steele Reese Foundation. The camp is designed to help students learn the basics of vocal techniques, song preparation, acting skills, stage presence and how to work through stage fright. The camp will take place in the Johnson Room (127) in Avery Hall on the LMU campus.
