UPDATE: WEIGHT WATCHER INFO SESSION POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER
January 4, 2011 - Harrogate, Tennessee — Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) is once again teaming up with Weight Watchers to help the community stay healthy and offering an enrollment special to kick off 2011. It is estimated that people gain an average of 10-15 pounds between Halloween and New Years. The highly successful weight loss program will be offered with the new program Points Plus.
The session will begin with an informational meeting on January 18. All meetings will take place at noon on Tuesdays in the Mary Mars Gymnasium classroom. Each meeting is approximately 30 minutes long. Due to the weather delay, the program will now be a nine-week session for $99. All fees are due at the information session.
The program will show you how small changes in your life can mean big changes in your weight. With the program you attend meetings once a week for less than an hour. You’ll enjoy support from your meeting leader who lost weight with Weight Watchers, and is a trained expert in the program. You will learn how to make wise choices, eat healthy and enjoy food and exercise.
The meetings are open to faculty, staff, students and the community at large. Getting started is easy. Simply attend the information meeting. The start of a New Year is the perfect time to get focused on your health and lose weight.
