REGISTER NOW FOR FOURTH ANNUAL GOLDEN SCALPEL GOLF TOURNAMENT
March 9, 2011 - The Fourth Annual Golden Scalpel Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Woodlake Golf Club in Tazewell, Tenn. The Tournament is presented by the Student Osteopathic Surgical Association at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM). The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.
This year’s tournament is sponsored by DeRoyal Industries. A portion of the proceeds from the tournament will go to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities.
Registration is $500 for a team of four and $400 for a team of four LMU students with ID. Individual registration is $125 per person or $100 per LMU student with ID. Registration includes golf, a catered lunch and a bucket of range balls.
The first place team will win four Callaway Razr Hawk drivers (a $1600 value). Second place will win four Callaway golf bags (an $800 value). Tenth place will receive four Callaway Jaws wedges (a $600 value) and last place will receive four one-dozen packages of Callaway Hot HX balls (a $100 value). Other tournament contests include Longest Drive, Closest to Pin and Putting Contest.
