LMU MUSIC SERIES PRESENTS THE QUATTRO FROMAGGI SAXOPHONE QUARTET
March 25, 2011 - Harrogate, Tennessee — The Paul V. Hamilton School of Arts and Science at Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) will present The Quattro Fromaggi Saxophone Quartet in concert on Saturday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m. The concert is part of LMU’s Fine Arts Series.
The Quattro Fromaggi Saxophone Quartet (QFSQ) is comprised of Sara Kind, Jared Thomas, Allen Cordingly and Brad Carman, a group of professional educators and freelance musicians from the southern Wisconsin area. The group performs recitals and educational concerts throughout the year across the country. The QFSQ is committed to bringing an eclectic blend of top-shelf music to its audiences.
The concert will take place in the Arnold Auditorium of the Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum on the main campus in Harrogate, Tenn. It is free and open to the public.
The Fine Art Series will continue on April 7, with the Humanities and Fine Arts Symposium. Upcoming events include a senior art show featuring the art of Katie Cobb and Rhoni Daikoff and the Railsplitter Playhouse production of the musical Nunsense, which begins its run on April 13.
